Menards

I did not have a Good experience. I have been shopping at Menards for 40 Years Now. I went to a different Menards for 21 Inch T5 fluorescent Light Bulbs. This other Menards did not have any in stock. They told me that The Menards on Highway 100 by Lincoln had 12 of these Light bulbs in stock. I went to Menards on Highway 100. It was a waste of my Time. Yes they had 12 of these Light bulbs in stock, however none of them were put out on the shelves. I was told that they came in two days ago and that they have not been unpacked yet. Instead of having a employee unpack some of them so that I could buy a couple of them, I was told to come back Tomorrow or to go to another Menards location. Keep in mind that I had to take 3 buses to get to this location and then walk in the Rain and the Snow to get to this location. I left Menards without buying what I needed. This used to be a really Good Menards location. Not anymore. Instead I walked over to The Home Depot a couple of blocks down. The Home Depot had plenty of the Light bulbs that I needed and they were out on the shelves too. Yes they were a little bit more expensive but that is OK because at least the employees at The Home Depot took Time to help me out and find what I was looking for. The Home Depot also has a better Christmas display and hard to find items that your store does not carry. I will not shop at Menards anymore. I will be shopping at The Home Depot from now on

This location needs to be upgraded. The outside "warehouses" are dirty. The products are dirty. The quantities are incorrect. Service is substandard. Would you install this siding on your home? (See photo) I had to drive back around to the service desk. Get a refund. Then go to the back of the store to purchase different (clean) siding.

Security guard had a power trip, cause I wouldn’t push a cart of flooring over to the other side of the cashier floor cause 13 of the same exact kind of flooring needed to be individually rung up, then I had to push it back to the “out” door to load it. My friend really needed it so she put up with the power trip and loaded 13 50 lb flooring packages into the back of her car while no one on the staff helped. She is 100 pounds soaking wet, and spent over a thousand dollars with this franchise. Grown men watched her I asked to speak to a manager and the security guard yelled for me to leave. Astounded

Below average customer service. I was looking for a specific part in plumbing department, I asked an associate walking by. His response in helping me was, "sorry, I dont work in this department." And he walked away. Left the store and went to Homedepot a few blocks away. Poor layout, always a guessing game trying to find anything here, even when you do find the right isle/department good luck if they have anything in stock.

On 10/22/22 in the morning,I went looking for vinyl flooring. I didn't know anything about it. The best person-Remy Z.- helped me out. He suggested tools , he suggested adhesives, he rolled up my vinyl in a way I could actually carry it in my van. He was so patient and helpful. I am sorry it took so long to write how grateful I was for his help at the time. Thank you Remy Z. and Menards..
